Relic is a metroidvania first-person-shooter I worked on for a university project. I worked on the boss and AI behaviour - making it a hivemind system wherein hurting one enemy makes everyone else hostile and being friendly to an enemy makes everyone friendly - and on the player mechanics - time manipulation, sticking to walls while wallrunning, and walking through certain walls. I've always loved hiveminds - and ever since I played the Swapper, I really wanted to create a hivemind-based artificial intelligence in a videogame. This is a small realisation of that dream.

I intend to develop this game further - the original intent was to create a "language" mechanic that enables the player to interact with the hivemind in a nonviolent manner and thus enables a completely nonviolent playthrough. I intend to fulfil its original intent very soon.
